- Helping Hands, Inc. provides food, clothing and shelter for an average of 39 children a day who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, abandonment or neglect.

- The average length of stay for children placed at Helping Hands, Inc. in 2006 was about 79 days (2 ½ months).

- Helping Hands, Inc. was the temporary home for 179 children who were removed from their homes due to abandonment and neglect.

- Helping Hands spent a total $25,063.42 on food in 2006

- Helping Hands, Inc. served over 42,000 meals and 28,000 snacks in 2006.

- Washing machines at Helping Hands, Inc. wash an average of 12 loads of clothing a day.

- Counselors, Childcare Workers and Tutors help children with their homework everyday during the school year that accounts for about 10 hours of study time per week per child.
